Rent cafe is an online platform that Princess Management has started to roll out. It provides tenants with the ability to pay rent and check payment history online,  submit and track maintenance requests electronically. 


If you do not currently have a Rentcafe account you can sign up using the following steps

1)  Click or copy this link into your browser: www.rentcafe.com/sign-up/

2) Once there, click on "I already have and apartment"

3) Type in Royal York Gardens.

4) Select your building address.

5) Fill in the requested information - It is important to use the email address that you have on file with Princess Management.

6) Check off the 2 user verification boxes then - Click on "Create Account"

7) Verify that your information is correct.


If you have changed your email or longer have access to the email provided to Princess Management please email the office at  royalyorkgardens@princess-management.com in order for them to update the system.



The tenants social room is located at 1139 Royal York Ct. directly to the left of the buildings main entrance.


I will provide links to the documents that are required by management to book your event once I have them available.

Laundry rooms are located on the main floor of each building. 

Purchase a laundry card from the Coinamatic machine located in the laundry room.

Follow the instructions on the screen to load funds onto your individual laundry card. or visit www.coinamatic.com/building-residents/reload-laundry-card/.


Maximum allowable balance on your card is $50.00


In the event you lose your laundry card or an error with the machine.  Coinamatic will refund your lost balance. Please review the information posters in the laundry room, or visit https://www.coinamatic.com/service for further assistance.


Please note, The machines are owned and operated by a private company, all problems and issues regarding the machines must be reported to them directly.


The NEW GYM is located in the "C" building and is free for all tenants.


To enter the gym, you will need to take your Front Door Entry Fobs to the office for updating.


Once updated, you will be able to enter at any time during the posted hours.



Problems may arise which affect your apartment or the enjoyment of your unit

If you require maintenance in your unit —for example, Faucet leaks, a toilet not flushing, a stove not working, or pests.


You have three options:

1) You can go to the rental office located on the ground floor of 1137 Royal York Ct. fill out a maintenance request form either from the office staff or from the holder located outside the office.

Complete the form and retain a copy for your records. Then drop it by the office. 

2) You can email your maintenance request to royalyorkgardens@princess-management.com

3) Please log in to your RentCafe.com portal, and you can fill out the online maintenance request located there.


Maintenance requests are prioritized by the availability of workmen and the severity of the issue.



The following are the rules set out by the property manager.


1) Balconies and patios are not to be used for hanging or drying of clothes, towels, sheets, or other items in an indiscreet manner. i.e. hung over the railings.

2) Princess Management has prohibited the using barbecues on the balconies. (for further information on this topic please see, https://www.toronto.ca/community-people/public-safety-alerts/safety-tips-prevention/home-high-rise-school-workplace-safety/barbecue-and-outdoor-cooking/

3) Do not drop any form of debris from your balcony.

4) Only seasonal furniture may be stored on a balcony, Awnings and satellite dishes are prohibited.

Patios are not to be used as storage areas and tenants are encouraged to keep up an attractive patio and garden appearance.

5) Flower pots and boxes are not permitted on balcony sills. Falling pots could severely injure anyone below.



Most tenants are considerate of others, however, if a problem with noise persists, and if a simple request to stop the activity fails, list the dates and times of the problem and report the disturbance to the Property Manager at royalyorkgardens@princess-management.com


Fire codes require apartment building hallways to be kept clear of obstructions to ensure safe egress in an emergency. This means nothing, including furniture, decorations, bicycles, or recycling, can be placed in the hallway. Hallways are considered part of a building's means of egress and must maintain their required width and have clear passage to exits, which can include clear paths to and from stairwells. 


Tenants should immediately report any hazards, such as blocked exits, damaged fire safety equipment, or combustibles in the hallway, to property management.  


Notices may be posted in the laundry rooms, on the Notice Boards provided by management. 

These boards are available to all tenants that wish to use them.
